NOTE (Spring 2023): This session is in progress, however, beginners ages 3.5-5 may join anytime of year! Ages 6-10 should sign up to try a free class to determine the best class placement.

Class Description: Beginners and pre-beginners begin their Irish dance journey by learning the fundamentals and basic techniques in a fun and energetic environment. When they are confident in their foundational skills, dancers will learn the Irish Jig and Reel. In addition to dancing, this class incorporates stretching, balance/coordination exercises, and even learning how to count in Gaelic! We cannot wait for you to see the growth your young child will experience over the course of this first year. School Year: Classes begin the week after Labor Day 2022, and continue weekly through June 2023.
Tuition: $740 (billed monthly, Sept-June)
Administrative Fee: $75 (one-time, billed in Aug)

Trinity’s classes in South Lakeview for 20 years have being offered courtesy of Dance Chicago, a program of Emergence Dance Theatre. Trinity has been calling Athenaeum home for over a decade from this partnership and holds dance classes in the professional dance studios on the third floor. For over 100 years, the Athenaeum has stood as a cornerstone in the Lakeview neighborhood. Athenaeum Theatre Productions is firmly committed to providing the Chicago non-profit performing arts community a welcoming shared space to incubate new projects and collaborations by providing high quality and below cost performance, rehearsal, office, and reception space supported by a staff of theatre professionals.
