Trinity is dedicated to helping students triumph over challenges both on and off the dance floor. Every day the result is an approach that represents a radical departure from typical programs, making Trinity the most recognized Irish dance school in the world.
#TrinityIrishDancers had a nice photo op with the outgoing Chicago St. Patrick's Day Parade Queen, Erin Mulcahy. Congrats to the new Queen Maura Connors! Counting down the days for this year's St. Patrick's Day festivities to begin!
#TBT to Summer 2016 when our teenage performance program, Trinity Irish Dance Ensemble, traveled to the Hello! Schoten festival in Belgium. Performers Nina and Maddie share their experience from the trip:
"Something special about experiencing new countries through the Trinity Irish Dance Ensemble program was not only meeting new people in different areas of the world and making new, close friendships with others outside of the USA, but also making close friendships with others through Trinity you did not know before. Some of the girls I met through my trip to Belgium are now my best friends and I wouldn't change that for the world!
Traveling with other dancers that I did not know before the trip was an amazing experience. From the very first practice we knew our Belgium trip had a special bond that nobody had ever had before with anybody else. Each practice we grew closer and closer to one another and that made the trip even better than it would have been before.
One of my favorite memories from last summer was not only the times we got to spend together over seas, but all of the fun practices and special moments we got to share with each other leading up the trip. If it weren't for the summer Ensemble trips, I would never have gotten the opportunity to meet my best friend. We have grown so close to each other and I wouldn't change it for the world! The Ensemble Program in an amazing way to meet great people and gain new friendships you will never be able to get anywhere else!"
