Today was only our first full day in Portugal and we’ve already made enough memories and had enough laughs to last a lifetime- can’t even imagine what’s to come!

We are currently in Porto, Portugal and loving every second of it! Today was only our first full day in Portugal and we’ve already made enough memories and had enough laughs to last a lifetime- we can’t even imagine what’s to come! After an awesome breakfast at the hotel, we got some free time to shop, nap, etc. During this time a lot of us just ended up in one hotel room playing cards and bonding. It’s incredible how close we’ve all gotten on this trip already. We are so blessed with such a great group of girls, teachers, musicians, and chaperones! At two o’clock our tour guide, Ana, met us at our hotel to lead us on a two and a half hour walking tour through the greatest parts of Porto. Our first stop was the Majestic Cafe, were J.K. Rowling began writing the first Harry Potter book. We made our way next to a market from the fifteen hundreds, then headed to the famous bookstore where some of the first Harry Potter was filmed! After we got to walk through a beautiful old church then headed back to the hotel to get ready for a team dinner! We met back in the lobby and walked to dinner where we all had steak, pasta, and traditional Portuguese food. At dinner we played telephone and bonded with the musicians, chaperones, and each other. We finished off the night with an incredible moose dessert from the restaurant, then went back to the hotel. So excited to head to Barcelos tomorrow!
