“Celebrate all things Irish with the Irish American Heritage Center at the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration this March 2018. This festival is one of Chicago’s largest St. Patrick’s Day events and takes plave under one roof at the IAHC. This March, we expect more than 10,000 visitors to the IAHC.
On Saturday, March 17, join us for the St. Patrick’s Festival following the downtown Chicago St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The festivities are from 1pm to midnight and this large-scale, family-oriented celebration features traditional and contemporary Irish music, dance, food and drink for purchase, children’s activities and an Arts and Craft Fair, with vendors selling Irish gifts. Visit the Library, Art Gallery and Museum for programming and exhibits, such as films, Irish language lessons, an Irish art exhibit, films, genealogy workshops and a book sale.
Attendees can park near the building or be directed to a remote lot and take a free shuttle to the IAHC from 1pm to midnight. Tickets are $15 for adults, or $12 for advance purchase if bought by the end of the day on March 15. Children 12 and under are free.”
