Learn to Dance like Conan with the Trinity Irish Dancers!

To commemorate Conan O’Brien’s May 2012 visit to the Irish American Heritage Center (IAHC), the Trinity Irish Dancers will be hosting FREE children’s Irish dance lessons during the IAHC’s St. Patrick’s Festival on Saturday, March 11. During Conan’s visit, the late night star got in touch with his Irish roots and explored the Irish American Heritage Center while the dancers from Trinity taught him how to Irish dance (or tried to!)

The FREE lessons will take place in room 311 and will run continually from 1-5pm. No sign up necessary to participate, children can just show up while attending the IAHC St. Patrick’s festivities and learn to Jig their way through St. Patrick’s Day!

The IAHC’s post-parade St. Patrick’s Festival is a large-scale, family-oriented celebration that features Irish music, dance, food, drinks for purchase, children’s activities and an arts and crafts fair with vendors selling Irish gifts. Attendees can also see the Trinity Irish Dancers perform in the auditorium at 5:30 p.m. Visit the IAHC website for ticket purchase and a full schedule of events.
